Counting Down!

I decided to make a list of things standing between me and my wedding:

1 haircut for me
2 haircuts for Marc
4 interviews total for both of us to get the right recommends
1 or 2 or 3 days spent working on addressing and sending the invitations
1 or 2 visits to the lady doing out flowers and decorations to get that all figured out
Finishing a photo book to have at the reception
Figuring out a wedding hairstyle
Getting our marriage liscence
Deciding on food for the reception
Picking out a playlist to play at the reception
A bridal shower
Finishing touches on the honeymoon plans
Talking to the lady who is doing my cake and figuring out how it should look
Fixing our registries and making sure they cover everything we need
Scanning photos so my brother can make a slideshow of me and Marc
Waiting for everyone to get here
Especially waiting to be able to see Marc again

Much much more that I can't think of, but most importantly, my wedding is about 35 days too far away

A Bit More About Us

Well for those of you who don't know it, I decided to tell you how me and Marc met and about our relationship. We were set up on a blind date by Laura Weakley in my home ward. Here is a little background information. Marc actually served his mission in Colorado and served in my ward. However, I was terrified of missionaries and so we never met, although he did know my dad and we did recognize each other. I was actually the backup girl because the first one was out of town :) We went to the Denver Aquarium and it was really expensive and I felt bad for that haha. Well he tried to buy me a mug from the gift shop but they were closed, so the next day he drove back to Denver, bought it, and then brought it over to me. He made a pretty good first impression! Unfortunately, he went back to Arizona the next day, and then I went on a trip to Nauvoo. We started to txt each other and I sent him pictures from my trip. We became good friends, and then we came back to visit me again. We went on a hike to Devil's Head to watch the sunrise and had our first kiss. About a month later, I went and visited him and got to meet his family. From then on, we saw each other about every two months. We talked on the phone all the time and really got to know each other. In January, he moved here to Provo and I loved being able to spend so much time with him! Well my roommate Meghan just put her mission papers in, but when she was still working on them, she asked if I would take pictures of her for to send in with her papers. Well she told me that she needed me to take them of her in natural light because "she looks really good in natural light" haha and so me, Meghan, and Marc drove to a nearby park. I started to take pictures of her and Marc ran back to the car to get his phone. When he came back, he said he wrote a poem for me and wanted to read it to me. I was confused and was like, "really? why?" And then he read this poem for me about our relationship, and at the end, he got down on one knee and proposed :) It was so perfect! I am so lucky that he came into my life! He is so good to me and puts up with all of my craziness :) I love him so much! This picture is when I realized that my roommate Meghan was in on it all the whole time! haha he surprised me :)

I am very happy :)

Our First Post Ever!

Well hello blog world! I hope everyone is excited that they will get to hear from me a lot from now on! Today me and Marc made a chain to count down until our big day (Inspired by all of the chains Shayle has made.)

Starting tomorrow there are 58 more days! That is a really long time, but hopefully the time will go by pretty fast. This chain is taller than I am which is ridiculous; it's a really good thing Marc is tall because it would be sad if we were both too short!
I really love this picture of Marc! He just looks so excited :)

The chain will hang on the wall in my apartment until Marc moves into the apartment that will be ours once we will get married, and then it will join him there.
