Week 40 (ALMOST)

We will reach week 40 on Saturday, but I figured today was close enough for pictures :) Especially since I have been so terrible at taking pictures for a long time. Sorry about that! Last Friday the Dr said I was dilated between a 2 and a 3, so we will see tomorrow morning what 1 week did. I'm hoping she will stay all warm and snug inside until my mom comes out next Thursday night, but we will see!

Here is the completed nursery! Well, everything is done except for the knobs on the dresser. They have been removed but have not been painted yet because it has been too cold outside. Hopefully they will get done soon! You can see our cute crib complete with lots of stuffed animals waiting to welcome baby home :)

I have tried to make some things for this baby. I made this rag quilt for her. If you look close you can see the cute little critters that are on the green fabric. I hope this keeps her nice and warm!

I have also made two different cocoons for her to snuggle in. This one also has a hat

Just for fun I made a head band for her with some extra yarn.

Here is the other cocoon that I crocheted. I like how the colors seem to spiral :)

Finally, I made a baby dress in my sewing class. It has tiny cream and gray flowers on it and so I put large gray felt flowers on it. I especially like the one on the side that you can see from the front and the back. I think we are pretty much ready for this girl to come and join us!
