You can see that te trail is pretty packed! There were a ton of people up there. We saw an old man who was skiing, a bunch of people with dogs (some of them had little shoes on haha) and there were a lot of other snowshoers.
We kept finding all of these snow caves and I made Marc climb down into all of them :)
This one had some wood outside of the entrance, and it smelled like it was freshly lit on fire. Maybe someone spent the night there?
He was so good to crawl in there for me :) He is so cute!
About half way through the loop that we hiked, we stopped and had a picnic! We had BLT's and chips and we brought along my favorite flavor of Izze, Pomegranate!
The backpack that Marc carried up there was a Christmas gift from my mom a few years ago and it has little glasses in it so we were able to be cheesy and toast :)
That blanket is waterproof on one side, and it rolls up and attaches to the side of the backpack.
When you unzip the backpack, it has 4 glasses, plates, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, salt and pepper shakers, a cutting board and a knife! And on the side it has a place for martinelli's or something, and the back is insulated so you can keep your food cold. Basically it is awesome!
Man I was so frustrated! We tried to set the timer for the camera, but for some reason it would only work for recording a video! So we had to hold the camera and try to take one. Luckily it turned out pretty good :)
More cheesy pictures! Haha at one point we could see our shadows as we walked so I wanted a picture of it :)
After I was so upset about the timer not working, we got to the highest point and there was a beautiful view of the mountains, and really nice couple who took pictures for us! So it all worked out in the end :)
SO cute you guys!!! It looks like you had a very fun time. The pictures of you guys in the mountains are amazing it looks like it was so beautiful. Tell Shannon she is a cake pop pro, those footballs looked great.
